This spectacular ray of light from setting sun hitting at and angle on El Capitan happens twice every year at Yosemite. In October and February, the February event known as Firefall brings in more crowds from around the world . This year because of the drought there was no water flowing from El Capitan but we experienced the light show on couple of sunsets during our stay at the park. We will definitely come back in future to capture this light when the Horsetail waterfall is at full flow.
